Method and Legal Grounds for Collecting Your Personal Data
Your personal data is collected in electronic and/or physical environments through our company's head office, printed and online forms, fax, mail, e-mail, telephone, open internet sources, corporate social media accounts, website and security cameras.
In addition, your personal data is collected on the legal grounds of explicit provision in laws as regulated in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law, fulfilment of legal obligations, establishment and performance of a contract, establishment, exercise or protection of a right, legitimate interest and, where applicable, explicit consent.
Purposes of Processing Your Personal Data
Your collected personal data is gathered in line with the purposes set out in Articles 5 and 6 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data; it is processed so that we can fulfil our obligations as data controller, develop our commercial activities, serve you better and carry out our human resources activities in a sound manner. Your data may be processed for purposes including communicating with you, performance of contracts for products and services offered, informing you about products via e-mail and online advertising, presenting promotional activities and campaigns tailored to you, analysing the data we process within the scope of statistical and planning activities, managing customer satisfaction and complaints, fulfilling requests received through our sales offices, website and similar channels, conducting customer satisfaction surveys, resolving issues relating to products and services, improving products and services, procuring technology and infrastructure services from external sources, preparing mandatory information and documents within the framework of applicable legislation and storing and sharing information requested by public institutions and organisations, fulfilling notification obligations and other legal obligations, taking all necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure the security of our systems and applications, sharing material information and documents with our business partners for the presentation and development of our products and services, ensuring event management, planning and executing business activities, corporate communication and sustainability activities, payroll management, planning human resources processes, following legal processes, and fulfilling the burden of proof as evidence in legal disputes that may arise in the future, as well as other similar purposes. In addition, your personal data may be processed pursuant to the Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098, the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102, the Law on the Protection of Consumers No. 6502, the Law on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce No. 6563 and secondary legislation relating to these laws, tax legislation obligations and other cases required by competent public authorities and other applicable legislation.
Parties to Whom Your Personal Data Is Transferred and Purposes of Transfer
Your collected personal data may be transferred to our shareholders and legally authorised public institutions and authorised private persons in line with the personal data processing conditions set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, for the fulfilment of the Purposes.
Your Rights Listed in Article 11 of the Law
As data subjects, you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
- Request information if your personal data has been processed,
- Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose,
- Know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
- Request correction if your personal data has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
- Request deletion or destruction of your personal data within the conditions set out in the Law, and request that third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred be notified of correction, destruction or deletion,
- Object to a result arising against the person solely through analysis by automated systems of your processed data, and
- Request compensation for damage if you suffer harm due to unlawful processing of your personal data.
